As of 7th September 2017 our clinic will no longer be part of the Bupa preferred provider scheme. This was a personal choice made by our physios as the current scheme does not make provisions for the years of experience and extra training the practitioners have.
What does this mean for our clients?
Unfortunately, this means a price increase for bupa clients as our costs will now be in line with other practitioners in the area with similar expertise. For example, follow up Physiotherapy visits will now be $95/$90 and Pilates classes will be $44.
You may not receive as much benefit back per visit yet you will still receive the same amount back from bupa overall. For example, you may only get $20 back per class instead of the $30 when we were preferred providers, however, it will last you longer through the year with both option resulting in the same total benefit per year.
What can we do for you?
As we value our current clients we are offering a discounted initial pack rate of $305 for 10 x pilates classes (2 passes max per person) for Bupa clients. 6 physio sessions (30 mins) for $396 which is the same pricing you are currently receiving. This will be available to purchase until 15 September 2017.
You also have the option of seeing one of our level 2 physios – Jess and Gill – who will honour the Bupa pricing.
You may check with your general practitioner if you qualify for 5 visits per year through Medicare.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to continue to see you at Chevron Island Physio.
Please see reception for any questions or concerns you may have regarding this information.
